Last month, we had a great trip to visit Grant's family in Fort Wayne. Most of Grant's siblings and their families met up at his mom's house for a little reunion. The men were able to tackle some projects around the house while the ladies assisted and entertained the kiddos. The little ones had so much fun getting to be with their cousins!
the girls were busy gathering sticks for our bonfire
we finally got to meet baby Emma, and Emily was infatuated!
watching their daddies and uncles at work!
the girls stayed busy making "cupcakes"
working hard or hardly working?
these girls are so lucky to have uncles that work at matilda jane!!
why don't all parks have these swings?!
all decked out for the fourth!
Amanda gave the girls a patriotic manicure ;)
yummy 4th of july picnic
Addie dug into the s'mores fixings a little early
Emily's first sparkler!
watching fireworks
the girls taking turns with the poppers
picking out some yummy chocolates :)
^notice Addie digging right into the dessert!
We were able to meet up with my cousin at a cracker barrel one evening. We haven't seen each other in 15-20 years, but she happens to live in Fort Wayne so it was fun to be able to have a little reunion. Our kids are close in age (Addie and her twin boys are 1 day apart!) so it was a lot of fun for them too!
fast friends!!
On our last day we visited the Fort Wayne Zoo and had a fondue party after dinner. We had such a great trip and can't wait to see everyone again soon! Emily is always asking me if we can go to Grandma Barb's house again someday!
they have peacocks walking around the grounds!

You will never know how much I LOVED having everyone here for the week. Such choice memories and thank you Katie for posting the blog. Your girls are precious as my other grandchildren and to see so many of them together brought so much joy to my heart! I know it was a sacrifice on everyones part to come and I know the quarters were tight but it was such FUN! I love your family
So so cute! I love my mom's face in the one where Addie finally let her hold her. :)
What fun memories for your family! I love all the sweet cousin pictures!
