Christmas day

We had an incredible Christmas this year! We were so lucky that Adelyn came early enough that we could be home for Christmas day. Emily's still young enough that she wouldn't have noticed either way, but it was still nice being to celebrate on the real day :)
We came home in the late afternoon on Christmas Eve. We had family come to our house and we sang Christmas carols, read about Christ's birth in the scriptures, and watched some clips about Christmas. It was great!
Emily wanted to help accompany the Christmas carols

Emily was very excited about Christmas this year. She understood everything that was happening a lot more. She remembered when she woke up Christmas morning that it was Christmas and was very excited to see all of her presents :)

It was fun having 4 stockings this year!

she loved her giraffe rocking horse from Santa!

We loved the Zinn family matching game from the Goates family! So fun!

the biggest hit was her doc mcstuffins checkup kit from Grandma Barb!

After we had our Christmas in the morning, we went to my parents' house for Christmas dinner and family gifts.
Thanks for the Anna doll Uncle Stevie and Aunt Shianne :)

All the Texas cousins were matching

Emily did a puzzle with Aunt Fleming

And, of course, we couldn't help taking some pictures of our little Adelyn in front of the tree :) She didn't really want to cooperate though.
