fall fun

I am SO behind in my blogging, so get ready for some picture overload! We've kept busy with a lot of fun activities the past few months!

-We kicked off fall with our neighborhood's fall festival. Emily blew me away with her bravery on the big slides and both girls had fun seeing the animals and fire trucks.

love this view^

-This year we painted and carved our pumpkins. Addie was so excited that she was finally allowed to use paint, because I never let her do it in preschool! We also had dinner in a pumpkin and it was delicious!

I promise they were more excited than they look!

-We planned to go to the zoo with friends, but it was way too crowded, so we hit up the Children's Museum instead. The girls loved it!

I love her focus face!

-We did A LOT of trick-or-treating this year! First, we went to my dad's office and got candy from all of his coworkers. It was so cute-- they really did an awesome job making it fun for the kids! Then our church had a trunk-or-treat with a chili cook-off that was a lot of fun. And of course we went trick-or-treating again on Halloween night. We had different costumes for each event and the girls had a blast!

-My parents celebrated their 30th anniversary in November, and if you know me and my sister then you know we're always looking for an excuse to throw a party ;) The 30th anniversary is the pearl anniversary, so we loosely went off that theme.

-One of my favorite traditions is the Texas Renaissance Festival. This was Grant's first time going and the first time for the girls as well. We all loved it!

It was finally a cool day!

Addie really enjoyed the funnel cake!

Emily's favorite part^

-We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family this year. It was wonderful!

All of the cooks in the kitchen (minus my dad who deep fried the turkey!)

-And here are a few random pictures:

I totally forgot to get a picture of Emily on the day of her primary program, but she gave her first talk the same day. She did an awesome job!
