-Addie's growing up right before our eyes! She can now roll over both ways, sit more confidently, and has discovered her feet. She's much more interested in toys and books and always wants to be a part of everything that's going on.
she loves this toy! It's like she's on a mission to unstack every single ring :)
-She's starting to thin out a little bit (just like Emily did at this age), but she's definitely still a yummy, squishy girl! She's now in the 75th percentile for weight and 85th for height.
-We started solid foods this month. She's taken to it really well and has liked pretty much all of the foods she's tried so far.
-She's FINALLY starting to sleep a little better at night. For the first half of the month it was just as bad as it's always been (up 3 times a night!), but then one day it suddenly got better. I can't take any credit because I did nothing differently, even though I probably should've been. I attribute her better sleep to two things... 1. the fact that she can roll over and get more comfortable. She loves sleeping on her side or tummy.... and 2. the fact that she can almost always put her pacifier back in by herself now. She's discovered her paci clip and knows that if she finds that she can get to the paci. Now she's usually just up once a night, around 3 or 4 and then she'll stay asleep until 7 or 8. It's so much better! We'll occasionally have nights where she's also up around 11, but usually she'll make it until the middle of the night :)
-She's still as happy as can be and gets along with everybody. No stranger danger for this girl! Hopefully it stays that way ;) While her big, wide smile is one of my favorite things in the world, she's also started doing this close-mouthed smirk that I just can't get enough of! We love her so much!
(she's holding the D for a father's day project... so photogenic!)
outtakes:
emily doesn't phase her... she's still putting on the charm ;)
