We did Emily's first Easter egg hunt a couple of weeks ago when my sister and her family were in town. The 3 youngest cousins did the hunt. Fleming and my grandma filled so many eggs for the hunt that the kids had to empty their baskets several times to refill them again. They had a great time!
We also made some fun treats while the Thompsons were here:
Last week I took some pictures of Emily in the bluebonnets. Unfortunately, I waited too long and most of the flowers were dead by the time we took pictures, but there were a couple little patches for us to use. Emily just wanted to play the whole time so it was hard to get her to be still for long :)
Thanks Uncle Jeff for bringing the teddy bear :)
Easter morning was so fun! Emily really enjoyed her Easter basket and opening her presents from Grandma Barb! We had bunny pancakes for breakfast, and then Emily got to do another Easter egg hunt at home. She's a pro now :)
Emily had a rough day at church (she's realized that when we take her to nursery it means we're leaving so she no longer likes it :( ). Then we had a great dinner at my parents' house. It was a really fun Easter!

I love, love, love her red hair! She is adorable!
Thanks for the post! Sounds like a fun weekend and so glad that Emily LOVED all the fun filled events! Maybe Emily takes after her father with going to Nursery! He was not fond of it either!
The pictures are priceless! :)
So cute! Glad y'all had a fun Easter!
What a fun Easter! And by the way, both my kids went through a phase like that with nursery. They liked it then hated it for awhile after the initial few times. Good luck! :/
