July 1st was on a Saturday this year, so our month started out with a trip to Home Depot for their project of the month. It was a bug catcher and Emily loved it!
Then we celebrated the 4th of July with my family. It was a fun, low-key day filled with swimming, yummy food, and fireworks!

Addie watched fireworks from inside again this year
Emily took swim lessons again this year and it was a complete turn around from last year! This girl is now a little fish in the water and can swim very confidently on her own.

We had a really great visit from a lot of Grant's family at the end of July. It started off with a trip to Galveston and the beach. We spent a lot of time swimming, playing, and enjoying being together. It was wonderful!
